Dominus Gladiatus Employees and Exhibition Matches Explained

Find documented employee functions, separate Exhibition cooldowns from match acceptance and assess income notes without assuming exact profit.

Which employee handles the activity you need?

Start with the function actually documented for that employee rather than treating every job as interchangeable income:

Employee or activity Documented function
Ordinator Manages Exhibition Matches
Procurator Lets you choose a contract instead of receiving a random one
Doctore Provides a training boost
Mines Sending a gladiator here has a documented Ludus-wide Morale consequence; income and return conditions are not established

The latest sources do not provide every employee’s hiring cost, unlock condition or job duration. This is a reference for the supported functions, not a complete employee database.

When does an Exhibition cooldown begin?

The September 17 update says it begins after the fight ends, rather than when you accept the match. Starting a cooldown estimate at acceptance would therefore misstate the published rule.

The same update makes gladiators who refuse to fight unavailable for Exhibitions too. Do not assume a refusal can always be bypassed by choosing another match type. An unanswered report about simultaneous Arena and Exhibition selection is a reported problem, not an intended strategy.

If a fighter is unavailable because he is still assigned to a room, use arena readiness for the developer-confirmed PC action.

What rewards were published?

The October 16 demo patch raises the Exhibition base reward from 10 to 20 coins, while reducing the bonus per Arena victory from 5 to 3 coins.

Those numbers are useful dated reference points, but the note does not fully define which victory count is used, how all modifiers apply or how the final amount rounds. This guide therefore does not present a complete payout formula.

Read the current offer and final report. The difficulty and rewards guide separately explains November’s arena reward changes; do not silently apply every Arena modifier to Exhibitions.

Can a job interfere with readiness?

An assignment consumes time during which a gladiator may not be available for the next match. Inspect the current activity and return information before counting that fighter in your team.

The October patch also says construction rewards receive a bonus based on the assigned gladiator’s Bodybuilding level. It does not publish a numeric conversion or justify a fixed “best worker” ranking. Read the current job’s requirement and reward instead of assuming all fighters produce the same result.

For the Mines, the November update expands the Morale loss to all gladiators in the Ludus. Check the wider roster’s condition and read the current confirmation before using that action. The reviewed sources do not establish its income, duration or whether the fighter returns; do not treat it as a routine temporary job with an assumed return. Fatigue, injuries and Morale explains the wider roster consequence.

How should the Doctore fit into training?

The September update removes the whip’s Morale penalty, and October removes extra Fatigue from the training boost. Those explicit later changes should take precedence over earlier penalty descriptions.

The sources do not establish a full current training-time calculator. Use training and skill changes to separate a boost from the requirement to return to training after arena learning.

What should you report if an assignment behaves unexpectedly?

Record the employee or match type, fighter’s activity and refusal state, when the cooldown began and the displayed versus final reward. Include demo or full-game status and the build shown.

Use the official Steam discussions or the developer’s support contact at Brain Seal. Do not use a reported exploit to force progress, and do not assume an unannounced lending system exists.

Which official notes explain these activities?

Checked November 5, 2026. Exact job profitability, durations and release-build scheduling have not been independently tested.
